yes. NAB was a blast.
our Acudeo launch was, by all accounts, a big success. we had great booth traffic. with our location by the door and our branded hand sanitizer giveaway, you couldnt avoid us.
we were the only ad network with a presence at the show and we had lots of great conversations about how we are helping publishers make money with their content. we had some great dinners and a really good time at the Akamai party, among others.
we missed Avid and Apple, although Avid was well represented everywhere outside of the show floor.
we loved our neighbors, AFP, TVU and new friends at Rio Vista Media.
the floor seemed a little slow on Weds and Thursday, but Monday and Tuesday were rocking.
thanks to those who stopped by. and if you missed it, let me know if you want a Tremor-branded hand sanitizer. We have a few left.

How fun to continually write about new milestones!!! Today we announced our participation in Google’s AdSense for Video program. We’ve integrated Google AdSense into our Ad-inStream (AIS) platform, enabling publishers to accept targeted Google AdSense for video advertising formats with just one click.
Another great reason for publishers to join our ad network!!!!

As all good citizens should, Tremor Media’s Chief Revenue Officer, Randy Kilgore, stepped up and defended the perennially pounded pre-roll format, penning yesterday’s Online Video Insider column.
In it, Randy points out four key points of why people badmouth the pre-roll format including a shortage of quality content, video ad targeting still in its early stages, video search being ineffective, and the herd mentality.
Head over to Mediapost and read it for yourself.
Nice post, Mr. Kilgore!

Dan Scherer, Vice President of Publisher Relations, will be speaking at Streaming Media West on Wednesday, November 7th at 1:45pm. Dan will be discussing the pre-roll format and what is next for online advertising.
How has the shift in ad budgets from TV to the Internet affected the online video advertising industry? Which type of advertising works best online: pre-roll, post-roll, in-stream, sponsorship, or all of the above? Does revenue come with the audience, or will a sudden spike in popularity sink your production under a mountain of bandwidth costs before you ever get a chance to swim? Come hear the factors that are affecting the current business models for online video advertising and the hurdles that need to be overcome to truly allow content to be monetized on the Web.

Tremor’s CEO, Jason Glickman made his first appearance in the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, October 25th. The article also appeared in Marketwatch and has been syndicated to countless papers and websites. The article, however was not about online video. Rather, it was on the trends of office Halloween parties.
More relevant, Jason’s thoughts on offering users the video they want, when and where they want it, were included in the Courtesy of Online Advertising blog.
